Maintaining the feel and integrity of Skylar’s art was our priority for the cover design. We worked to find fonts that would fit with the artist’s style and medium. The kids are posed in a way that feels natural to how two brothers —despite their differences—would share a moment of exploring the woods together. Subtle embossing brings the characters and scenery to life, and the hidden animals on the cover add delight as you discover more details the longer you look.
