Designer Comments

To reinforce a series theme, we wanted to use some kind of fiber on the cover, and the author suggested macramé. We found an artisan in Montreal with natural cotton macramé designs that were well-suited for our cover. With the help of a sculpted embossing die on felt paper, the result is quite authentic. Before you pick it up, be warned: it’s hard to stop rubbing it.
