Drew Dyck brings a friendly voice to the oft-guilt-inducing topic of self-discipline, and we wanted to keep the tone of his cover light and playful. We went through a number of designs wavering between imagery that was too comic or too ironic. Landing here seemed a really nice balance between fun and thoughtful.
