Judge Comments

With an intriguing title such as “Church History”, depicting this I’m sure was no small task, and yet these bibles so beautifully capture the essence of scripture in a minimalistic approach. Each bible incorporates an arched motif, either in packaging or the cover itself, that is both modern and yet feels like it is steeped in history. These patterns extend into the spine, where you’ll find ornate patterns, echoing the covers and creating continuity throughout the whole piece. As you begin to leaf through the first couple pages, there is a reduced arched mark that put a smile on my face, designed with such intentionally. Both bibles are distinct, with the use of special finishes and materials like spot gloss, gold foiling and debossed techniques that adorn the cover, packaging and spine, which make these truly stand out.
