Designer Comments

Everything about the Explorer Bible for Kids design builds off of Nate’s illustrations. They are the star. The goal for this edition was to simply bring to life one piece of the broader packaging illustration and create a fun cover for kids.

Judge Comments

The engaging cover art and slight vintage feel makes the cover and packaging inviting. For a kids Bible, I was struck by how fun the cover is without it being so overly vivid — but also allows for the bright orange endsheets to be a nice surprise. The deep sea theme conveys the idea of exploring the unknown, and is a nice visual parallel to introducing kids to the Bible.
