The hero of this design is Stephen’s illustration. They serve to reinforce different aspects of Christ that the reader will encounter on the interior (Creator and Covenant Keeper, King/Ruler/Judge/Warrior, Sacrifice/Priest, Redeemer/Deliverer, Presence, and Prophet/Shepherd).

Judge Comments

The series of illustrations paired with the cover finishes are a striking combination. The woodcut style art is beautifully executed and brings a depth to the overall design. There is a nice balance between the textured art and caseside, paired with the foil details which adds reverence.
