The image used on this cover has a really great backstory: the photo was shot by a 10-year boy on his little league baseball field. The author saw it and requested that we use the image. As we began working the image, we really wanted to capture the nostalgia and longevity of the game so we decided to use his black and white photography and an old-school pennant-style font treatment. These MLB players remind us of how we are to live on the field and off. Using this child’s photo, reminds us that when we trust the Holy Spirit to help us “swing for the fences” we impact people around us. Prayerfully, the next generation.
