I set out to design the EBTC series in a way that I had not seen a Bible commentary treated before, where the design can sometimes feels like an afterthought. I wanted the aesthetic for this series to feel thoughtful and considered. The vertical type is intended to set the title apart from others in the genre, along with a window to feature unique artwork for each title. For Thomas Schreiner’s Hebrews, the mosaic conveys Christ’s bringing about a new creation in believers (Hebrews 1:10-12). Thank you for your consideration.
