This project was a labor of love for Joe and me. The interior has over 120 sepia-like illustrations but for the cover we wanted something in full-color. The tones are rich and earthy. The shadows are deep and detailed. We hope kids linger over the cover, the interior, and the deep truths on the journey to the King.

Judge Comments

The illustration, simply put, is good. The character design feels classic, yet new. The typo-graphic of the title Little Pilgrim’s Progress fits the world while standing apart from the whimsical illustrations.
