The design brief from the client showed some examples of illustrations that they loved with a clean, flat style. Our thought was to use a limited but vibrant color palette with a clean vector graphic look. We paired it bold, vintage looking typography, designed in a more modern way, for this updated view on how Mary Magdalene might appear today, or in the recent past.
