What a gorgeous illustration! The publisher took a risk, and it paid off. It was refreshing to see art of a Biblical scene that wasn’t treated with a historical woodcut. We loved how the detailed scenes allow the reader to imagine what life was like in a bustling city during the time of Jesus. You can envision the under-the-table deals, the people searching for hope, the trading to survive, the Pharisees scoffing at the common “sinners”, etc. This cover has it all. – ML
