This cover utilizes all types of illustration, and it somehow completely works. The mixture of vector ornaments + nature photos + marbled wood textures combined with circular overplayed crops was something we hadn’t seen before. It intertwines the modern nature (photos) with historic references to the nature seen in Eden (the old vector ornaments). The craft paper background furthered the concept and brought it home. So nice to see they avoided a recycling symbol or even worse – a nondescript, generic nature photo. – ML
