Judge Comments

Sure this book is leaning into the illustrative floral trend and the primitive wildlife trend… but it’s still perfect. We loved the muted colors, and the illustration is so well executed. Another book that could’ve been a stock photo cop out, but the publisher, author, and designer knew better. Feels spot on for the audience and subject matter. The print techniques were done with care and precision. Overall just a really beautiful cover; it’s one you want to pick up and one you want to display on your coffee table. – ML
