The cover treatments take this design to the next level.

A great example of how to make a book fit within a previous brand (even a very recognizable one such as Francine Rivers!) and feel fresh and new. Love the gold dust effect. (hard return) Great use of emboss around the frame and metallic processes on the cover’s dust jacket. Large typography with the silhouettes in the emblem coordinates very well. (hard return) In keeping with other Rivers titles make this easily recognizable but the detail and the effect especially of the gold flake really works to grab your attention, gold rush!

We immediately know the era of the story, the mood of the story, and the direction of the story. This design tells you so much without thought or study. Simple, romantic, and appealing. (hard return) Combined use of “floating” foil and embossing make this a rich-looking cover.

Typography, colors, placement, and extra touches made this title a standout in its genre.
